Through the vision and generosity of the Edgar Auchincloss family, the Country Club of Darien was formed. We are committed to providing our members and their guests with a distinctive gathering place for both social events and athletic endeavors.
The Country Club of Darien is the proud host of the 2016 and 2020 Platform Tennis National Championships, the 2019 Westchester Open and 2020 "Ike" MGA Championship.

Our opulent Ballroom with its attached lounge and Terrace area overlooks the golf course and is a sensational venue for any occasion. The adjacent White Oak Room, renovated in 2016, showcases beautiful course views through its glass Nana doors.
On the second floor of the Clubhouse, there are two meeting rooms, the Board Room and Boutique Dining Room. The Board Room seats up to 24 and can be set up with the latest audio/video technology for your corporate meeting. With seating for up to 14, the Boutique Dining Room is an intimate setting for small family gatherings such as birthday and anniversary parties.

| As you know, we recently did some improvements to the Fitness Center here at the Club. Aside from an aesthetic 'face lift,' the improvements included the equipment additions of two new treadmills with televisions, a leg press machine, a recumbent bike, an Airdyne bike, a multi-press chest machine and a leg press! |

The Fitness Center
The Fitness Facility is located on the second floor of the main building. Our state of the art facility houses a cardio vascular room treadmills, ellipticals and an Espresso bike. The weight room is home to both free weights and nautilus equipment, 2 industry standard Life Fitness bikes, a peloton, abdominal machines and a stretching area.
In 2008, The Country Club of Darien opened a new and improved pool facility which includes a six lane swimming pool, diving well, and a gated baby pool for swimmers five-years-old and under.
Swim, Dive and Water Polo practices and games are built into the Monday-Friday week, with most events in the early evening. Portions of the pool are closed during practice and completely closed during meets. |

| Dining |
| Country Club of Darien's dining facilities center around our casual family friendly and very popular Mixed Grill and Pub, an informal venue where you can be comfortable in a jacket and slacks or in a golf shirt and shorts in the warm months. In warmer months dining options are expanded with our outdoor Terrace overlooking the eighteenth green. Adjacent to our Mixed Grill is our popular Pub Room with its rich wood trim and stone hearth fireplace warming our Members and their guests on chilly fall, cold winter days and evenings. |
